MLS is now the league that attracts the most attention in CONCACAF. This is one of the competitions with the greatest growth, development, infrastructure and investors. Since its foundation in 1993, and after 28 years of existence, it has not stopped expanding. Major League Soccer went from 12 teams in 2006 to 30 by 2023, in addition to an immense growth in terms of fees for new teams. Each year it is becoming a bigger business; in the 2020 season Inter Miami and Nashville SC made their debut, in the 2021 campaign Austin FC joined, by 2022 Charlotte will be added and finally, in 2023 St. Louis and Sacramento will be added.

Vancouver Whitecaps

Vancouver Whitecaps is one of the most expensive teams in MLS. According to information from the Transfermarkt portal, the value of the Canadian club is 44.6 million euros.

Seattle Sounders FC

Entering the top five of the list, the Seattle Sounders squad. The team currently led by American manager Brian Schnmetzer is worth 48.15 million euros.

Los Angeles FC

The fourth most expensive squad in MLS is that of Mexican player Carlos Vela. Los Angeles FC are worth just over 52 million euros.

New York City FC

New York City FC is one of the three most expensive teams in the American competition. The New York City squad has a market value of 55.18 million euros.

Toronto FC

Toronto FC is the second most expensive team in Major League Soccer. The team led by coach Bob Bradley has a market value of 63.63 million euros.

Atlanta United

Currently, the team with the most expensive squad in Major League Soccer is Atlanta United. The value of the American team is 77.68 million euros, an exorbitant amount that even exceeds that of the Mexican club Tigres with a value of 76.80; while it is below Rayados de Monterrey, a team with a cost of 85.90 million euros.
