The first comeback game of the 2020 MLS season was played between FC Dallas and Nashville Soccer Club.

The game between FC Dallas and Nashville Soccer Club had high expectations for several reasons. The first is that it would be one of the few games that would allow fans to attend at Toyota Stadium, home to FC Dallas. The Texas government allowed 5,000 fans access. Another reason was that this would be the first of several games in the comeback of the 2020 MLS season.

With FC Dallas at home, in a tight match that seemed to end in a goalless draw, Nashville Soccer Club managed to beat the home team by a goal against zero. With a goal by David Accam, Ghanaian forward, in the 86th minute, Nashville SC managed to obtain its first victory in the return to the tournament.

With this victory, Nashville Soccer Club continues to add points within the MLS to qualify for the Playoffs. On the 16th of this month, the rematch match between the two clubs will take place. It should be noted that the game will also be at Toyota Stadium with FC Dallas at home.
