MLS is constanly fighting to be the best Concacaf league. Today, that spot possibly still is occupied by the Mexican Liga MX. However, in the last years, there was a huge hierarchic jump that started equating them. And Alan Pulido, Spoting Kansas City player, gave his opinion.

“MLS is a little more vertical and they also have a little more space. So it has more goals. Mexican soccer is more tactical, the teams close the spaces so that there aren’t many opportunities for goals. These are some of the differences that exist between one league and another”, said the striker to VAVEL. Pulido played for Tigres and Chivas de Guadalajara before arriving MLS.

“It’s beautiful to play in the United States. There are many Mexicans and many Latin people who always give the best. I'm glad to enjoy MLS", admited the Mexican player. His love for the US league only generated rejections on their local fans who have an historic rivalry with their neighbours.
