Lorenzo Insigne salary: The highest in MLS?

Toronto FC is definitely going for it all this year and just so there's no doubt about it, Lorenzo Insigne's salary upon his arrival in the league was revealed. Will it be the highest in MLS?

Before his arrival, the highest-paid player in the league was Mexico's Carlos Vela, who earned more than six million dollars a year. 

And in second place was another Mexican, Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, who earns six million dollars a year. 

In third place was Gonzalo Higuaín, whose pay per season is just over five million dollars per season. 

But it seems that the arrival of Lorenzo Insigne with his more than 12 million dollars per season is going to change the top of the highest-paid players in the tournament.
