Josef Martínez led Atlanta United to victory over Charlotte FC

While the team started off losing in their first few weeks in Major League Soccer, their last few games have given the feeling that more can be expected from this club.

Charlotte FC Record

So far, the club that Jordy Alcívar and Karol Swiderski play for has 3 wins, 0 draws, and 4 losses, but all indications are that they have been trying to improve their record in their last few games.

The club had two wins before their 2-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union, and those wins had come against the New England Revolution, 3-1, and FC Cincinnati, 2-0.

And in those matches, the most outstanding player was Karol Swiderski, the Polish striker that the club brought in to prepare for his MLS debut.

Swiderski had stood out in the match against the New England Revolution with a brace, and later scored another brace, this time against Cincinnati. But from today on, the eyes of the club's fans will not be on him alone.

Charlotte FC has been playing better after Karol Swiderski overcame work visa issues that prevented him from playing in the club's first game, which was against DC United

In that match, Charlotte lost 3-0, and Swiderski would not get on the scoreboard until the match against the New England Revolution. However, this afternoon proved that Swiderski is not the only player to fear on the MLS expansion team.

Jordy Alcívar's goal gave Charlotte FC victory and revenge

This matchday, Jordy Alcívar scored an Olympic goal against Atlanta United to help his club win and move into fifth place in the Eastern Conference

The goal, which was originally a corner kick, came in the 11th minute, which set the tone for the entire 90 minutes, and although Atlanta United tried on several occasions, they were unable to hurt Charlotte.

Charlotte FC was defeated in its third MLS match by Atlanta United, with goals from Josef Martinez and Jake Mulraney, while Adam Armour scored for Minted Team of the Carolinas.

But after that match, Charlotte had two important victories before losing again in their match against the Philadelphia Union.

So Alcívar's Olympic goal not only gave his club the three points, and a play to boast about, but it also gave them some well-deserved revenge against Atlanta United.
