Mexico National Team received Panama MNT on Estadio Azteca on Wednesday night for the last game of the World Cup Qualifiers match window in a match that was played as a final, given the importance for both teams to earn the 3 points.
Martino didn’t start Funes Mori to prevent chants against him
It’s become clear that Gerardo Martino’s future as Mexico National Team coach is hanging by a thread, especially after jeopardizing one of the tickets to access directly to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and FMF is rumored to be looking for a replacement for the Argentinian coach.
A coach that wasn’t previously on the mix was spotted in Estadio Azteca for El Tri match. Juan Reynoso attended the match even though he wasn’t part of the guests FMF had contemplated for Wednesday night, which raised questions as if he is also being considered to replace Martino.
According to reports, Juan Reynoso doesn’t have a release clause on his contract with Cruz Azul, which opens the door to arrive for free if FMF wanted, although they would have to pay the remainder of his contract first. Reynoso knows Liga MX and already was champion with Cruz Azul.
A new player has decided to retire from Mexico National Team in Martino’s era
