On Wednesday night, Mexico National Team will play the last CONCACAF Qualifiers match window not only for the remainder of the 2022 cycle, but at least for the next 6 years, as Mexico is already qualified for the 2026 World Cup given that they’ll be hosts.

The game against El Salvador will mean the direct passage for El Tri to Qatar 2022, as they just need one more point to ensure their presence at least as the third place of CONCACAF, although a combination of results could give them the second place of the confederation.
Now, the Mexican national team will have to wait until Friday to know the teams that they will face in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as the Group Stage Draw will define the eight different groups in which the 32 teams will be divided.
But until Friday, in El Tri’s camp there’s another good news that can excite the Mexican followers, as reports suggest that Hirving “Chucky” Lozano could be on the move over the summer, as FC Barcelona has showed interest in him.
According to the report of Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona has given up on the negotiations with the French winger Ousmane Dembélé and now have closed any possibility of renewing him for the 2022-23 season.
Dembélé has refused to agree on a contract extension since the beginning of the season, something that has worn out the relationship with the Blaugranas management, which is why they’re looking for a new winger to replace him next season.
Reports suggest that they’re looking for a winger in the Italian top-division, and given the good relationship that Barcelona has with Mino Raiola, Lozano’s agent, the possibility of arriving in La Liga for next season grows by the minute.
“Chucky” Lozano arrived in Europe in 2017, when PSV Eindhoven acquired him from CF Pachuca for $14 million. Since then, Lozano has played 5 seasons in Europe, 2 with PSV and 3 with Napoli, where he’s played a total of 186 games, scoring 65 goals and assisting 33 times.
