In just over a year, Nicolás Larcamón has impressed everyone in Liga MX and Mexican Football Federation by helping Club Puebla play in consecutive Liguillas and returning to the top places in Liga MX, as they’ve finish third and fifth in the two seasons Larcamón has coached them.
Martino ignores him, but Barcelona is looking to add this youngster on the next transfer window
For Clausura 2022, Larcamón and La Franja currently stand first in Liga MX after five games, in which they’ve won three and tied the remainder two. Although he’s under contract with Los Camoteros until the end of 2022, he’s started to be linked with multiple teams and even Mexico National Team.
And after being asked if he would like to coach El Tri, Larcamón said that it would be a great opportunity, although he knows that Gerardo “Tata” Martino is a great coach and will do an amazing job in Qatar 2022.
If “Tata” Martino doesn’t manage to beat USMNT in the upcoming FIFA match window, it’s most likely that he’ll lose his job, which could open the door to Larcamón’s arrival in El Tri. If that happens, Nicolás knows that El Tri needs a player like Javier “Chicharito” Hernández.
