The friendly match between Club America and Manchester City left many conclusions, not only for Fernando Ortiz, but also for Gerardo Martino. The Argentinean was very attentive to the actions of some of the selected players and he would already have the replacement of a player after being evidenced in that match.

After America's match against Manchester City, Martino observed the limitations of Jorge Sánchez at right back. The Argentinean is already considering calling another player for this important position. Julián Araujo would be in charge of replacing the "Las Aguilas" player.

Despite the fact that Jorge Sanchez would have assured his call-up to the big event in Qatar, the starting position does not correspond to anyone at the moment. Gerardo Martino is even thinking of calling up some players like Alan Mozo from Chivas, but the name of Araujo from LA Galaxy is already starting to gain a lot of traction.

Why isn't Alan Mozo making it to El Tri?

According to TUDN, Martino is not calling Mozo because of the problem he had with former Olympic team coach Jaime Lozano. The Chivas fullback could be a great variant for the World Cup, but Gerardo Martino would not take him into account.
