Chicharito unveils the awards conflict and why he was taken out of El Tri, for money

Javier Hernandez was back in the Mexican national team's spotlight after his last interview on Hugo Sanchez's show. Controversy has been the order of the day with the Mexican soccer player after not being on the call-up list for Qatar 2022. In this conversation, he revealed one of the main reasons.

In an interview for the program Hugo Sanchez presenta, the coach exposed the case of the problems experienced within the Mexican national team. Chicharito was sincere and exposed one of the reasons why he is out of the team. According to the player, it has a lot to do with the issue of awards in the national team and the people behind it.

In the Russia 2018 World Cup, Chicharito was singled out because he did not agree to sign his signature and negotiate various prizes for Mexican players and their participation in the World Cup. The player pointed out that there are players who have this type of incentives as a priority and that it did not add or subtract to him, but that he did not want to sign anything.

What does Chicharito say?

"We had a WhatsApp group and I left that I no longer wanted to negotiate anything, I just wanted to play soccer. People were saying that I didn't want to, but there was a moment when I got out of that that they told me I had to sign something and I told them 'my money that I'm going to earn for whatever, we can distribute it to the props and young players, but I don't want to sign this'," he argued.
