Chivas started the second leg of 2021-22 Liga MX Season on the right foot, not only because they won and played one of their best matches in a long time, even without the presence of their lone addition for Clausura 2022, but because the team debuted a new young player.

But Marcelo Michel Leaño keeps contradicting himself, as he previously has stated that he’ll call good young players to give them a chance with the first team as Chivas only had one addition, and then he leaves out of the squad Chivas most promising player.
After debuting last week in the second half of the 3-0 victory over Mazatlán, Michel Leaño decided that Sebastián Pérez Bouquet wouldn’t be part of the squad for the second round of Clausura 2022, in the visit Chivas will have to Pachuca.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been part of Chivas Academy team for a while, and although he’s had outstanding performances with the U-20 squad, he had to wait until Clausura 2022 to have his debut with the senior team.
