Club América is not giving up on adding more players for Clausura 2022 as they have set their eyes on becoming champions this season, and even after two rounds of the second leg of 2021-22 Liga MX Season, they are still finalizing deals to strengthen their squad.

Santiago Solari is still looking to add players in every offensive position, and they’re looking both inside and outside of Liga MX. But reports suggest that their third addition for Clausura 2022 will be from a Liga MX team, as Alejandro Zendejas currently plays for Necaxa.
Zendejas was part of US Soccer Academy alongside Christian Pulisic from U-15 to U-20 squads, but after playing in Mexico for a couple of years, he decided to defend Mexico National Team, as he’s been part of U-21 and U-23 squads. He also debuted with the senior team in October last year.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined Necaxa prior the start of 2020-21 Liga MX Season out of Chivas, and has become a regular for Pablo Guede’s squad, as he’s played 50 games with Los Rayos, scoring on 11 occasions and assisting two times.
