Andres Guardado has been on the radar of many news at America after it became known that he was not registered with Real Betis for the current Spanish League. It turns out that the Sevilla team has failed to comply with the financial Fair Play of the competition and has not been able to register several players, including the Mexican.

Despite the fact that Andres Guardado's heart is with Atlas, in an interview for the official channel of the Mexican national team, El Principito assured that if he had no other option in Liga MX, he would not mind playing for Club America.

During an interaction on the Mexican national team's Facebook Live, the player said: "If I had no other option, I have already said many times that I would not play for Chivas, out of respect for the colors that saw me grow up, for Atlas", said the Betis player.

Could Guardado join Club America?

Everything will depend on Real Betis' decision regarding the Mexican player. It turns out that the Benito Villamarín's team has until August 31 to register unregistered players and for that they must clear their accounts. If he remains without a team, he will not be able to play in the World Cup in Qatar.
