After their opening game against Puebla, in which Club América managed to save a 1-1 draw, Santiago Solari’s team is decided to add a new defender, especially after today’s announcement of Emanuel Aguilera’s departure to Atlas.

In Europe rumors start pointing towards a La Liga club that might be interested in helping Las Águilas, and the club from Coapa might see with good eyes the addition of one of Granada CF’s defenders, in a movement that could help everyone involved.
Luis Abram recently lost his place on the starting XI of the Nazaríes, but his intention is to gain regularity to keep his spot with Peru National Team, who is still looking to play 2022 FIFA World Cup, as he is regularly called by Ricardo Gareca. If he ends up moving to América, he’ll join fellow Peruvian Pedro Aquino.

The 25-year-old center back has only played 8 out of 20 possible games on the current season for the Rojiblancos, where Robert Moreno uses him as a left-back. He better performs right in front the goalkeeper, a place where Club América could benefit from the Peruvian international.
