After that victory against Mazatlán FC, the team would begin an irregular streak in which ties and defeats would be added to the occasional casual victory, but Leaño's time with the team was already numbered. 

Suddenly, Michel Leaño left Chivas and Ricardo Cadena arrived to try to save the team, which simply wasn't working.

And thanks to Cadena's great work, the team managed to reach the Liguilla, where they were eliminated by Atlas, thus recovering the team's dignity, which had been lost during Marcelo Michel Leaño's tenure.

But with the change of coach, there were also changes in the line-ups, and players who had a guaranteed place with Leaño, lost it, as happened to Sebastián Pérez, who even lost much more than his place in the line-up. 

Cadena not only sat him down but also stopped calling him up to the first team in the last two matches with the Chivas U-20 team, as the interim coach considers that the player needs more experience.

And immediately, rumors of the player's possible departure from the team began to leak to the Mexican press.

Despite his lack of experience and his youth, the player is valued at just over 1 million dollars, so his departure from the club would have that price, however, his possible destination would be the Tapatío, Chivas' subsidiary team.

In this way, the player would finish his development in the Expansion League, where Tapatío plays, which the player could consider a setback in his career. 

Although his arrival to this team in the second division of Mexican soccer has not been confirmed so far, the Mexican media are keeping an eye on the destiny of this young promise of Mexican soccer.
