Amaury Vergara is already leading the revolution at Chivas Guadalajara after the last failure in the liguilla when they were left out in the playoffs. Now, the tapatio team wants a structural change and has already started with the departure of Ricardo Cadena and Pelaez, followed by the arrival of Fernando Hierro as the new sporting director.

One of the most talked about names in the Chivas environment is precisely that of Javier Hernandez as an elite reinforcement for the club. Chicharito has not yet renewed his contract with the LA Galaxy and after being left out of the MLS playoffs, Hernandez could be one of Amaury Vergara's big surprises. However, his arrival would not be as easy as it seems.

According to journalist Jesús Hernandez, the signing of Chicharito depends a lot on the economic aspect and the salary offered to the player. According to Vergara himself in an interview with TV Azteca, the club has the resources for big arrivals. However, for Hernandez it is about 6 million dollars on the table, something that is certainly not so affordable.

Which player would replace Chicharito?

The player who is positioned as one of the reinforcements for Chivas in the next tournament is Aguirre from Santos Laguna. Media close to the club point to a possible exchange between El Mudo Aguirre and Cristian Calderón, however, the Laguna board seems to want some money in exchange for their star striker.
