Fc Barcelona is going through one of their most difficult times in the last decades. Since the emerge of Lionel Messi, this may be the toughest times ever. And the reality is that right now nobody is afraid of FC Barcelona. One coach in particular went further and said that he doesn't want to get comparisons with them.
Jorge Jesús, Benfica's coach and former coach of Flamengo, the Brazilian team which last year won the Copa Libertadores and almost defeated Liverpool in the Clubs World Cup, said that when he receives comparisons between his Benfica and FC Barcelona he feels a little bit awkward.
The coach said that if the comparison is between them and the Barcelona of some years ago -which means, the Barcelona of Pep Guardiola- then he like the compliment. But if the comparison is with the FC Barcelona of this days he refuse it because this Barcelona "has nothing".
Jorge Jesús added that he doesn't believe that his current team plays similar to Ronald Koeman's Barcelona because his team knows how to play and what the want to do with the ball. Although Benfica is going throw a great moment, the observation seems agressive and disrespectful to FC Barcelona and, specially, to Lionel Messi.
