There is a great discussion throughout Mexico and the world about whether America should leave the classic against Chivas to take Tigres as a classic. There are many versions and that is why journalist John Sutcliffe was encouraged to speak about it. The biggest discussion is between Televisa and Liga MX since one does not want to consider it and the other already does.

The truth is that America will face Tigres and it promises to be a great match. This game, beyond the seasoning of being a classic or not, can define the future of each team for the final of Liga MX. That is why victory is very important for either of them. There is a lot of expectation for this game and the pevia is talking a lot about whether or not it is a classic.

ESPN journalist John Sutcliffe made his position very clear about whether or not the match between Tigres and America is a classic. For Sutcliffe, Liga MX is not respecting the true classics and they are inventing matches to try to inflate the league. Sutcliffe asked Liga MX to please stop these things and go back to how it was before.

The only classic that should be called that for America is Chivas and Televisa agrees on that. The prestigious ESPN journalist asked his followers what they thought about it and the vast majority thought the same as him. For its fans, America-Tigres being a classic is an invention of Liga MX.
