Endrick played in the first match of this summer's competition at 17 years old and 339 days old against Costa Rica. Endrick could become one of the youngest players to ever start for Brazil at Copa America and one of the youngest Brazilian players to score for Brazil at Copa America.

Endrick has not been given a chance to start under Dorival Junior in the Brazil team despite showing brilliant displays against some of the best national teams in the world.
