Tigres lost the first match of the quarterfinals of the Liga MX against Cruz Azul 3 to 1 and all the fans and the critics pointed towards Ricardo Ferretti. Ferretti´s job is at risk now in Tigres but there would be two MLS teams that would be interested in him being the coach for next season.

Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti has great experience as a coach and as a player but today he is not finding the right system to win with Tigres. Although he has one of the best forwards in Liga MX like Giganc, Tigres could not against Cruz Azul and could be eliminated in the next game. Concern grows around if Ferretti could manage to win the match against Cruz Azul.

One of the teams that would be interested in Ricardo Ferretti is the San Jose Earthquakes. Given the possible departure of Matias Almeyda to Rayados de Monterrey or to Tigres himself, the MLS team would have set its eyes on the Mexican coach. SJ Earthquakes wants to retain Matias Almeyda but they are already thinking about his replacement just in case.

Another team that could lead Ricardo Ferreti is LA Galaxy as sports director Te Kloese wants his coach to be Mexican or Latino. The idea of LA Galaxy is that the coach can have a good relationship with Chicharito Hernandez and what happened with Barros Schelotto does not happen. The match between Tigres and Cruz Azul will define many things and among them will be the future of Ricardo Ferretti.
