However, if the USMNT beats the Mexican national soccer team, it would reach 23 points, which would complicate the outlook for Panama, especially if it does not win its next match against Honduras. 

Above all, if the United States wins against Panama, and if Costa Rica beats Canada, the Panamanians would find it impossible to reach the World Cup since they would lose the right to play in the re-qualification match.

There is no more chance for draws in the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers and all the teams know it, so they will go for the kill or die in this, the last phase of the qualification. 

And the Panamanian national soccer team urgently needs to win its next matches, which are against Honduras, the United States, and Canada. But to the Panamanian team's misfortune, they also depend on other results. 

Not only their own, because if they want to qualify directly to the World Cup, but they also need the United States to lose 1 of their next 3 matches, and not to win the other 2. 

This is because, if the Stars and Stripes keep on winning, they will move away from Panama, allowing other teams such as Mexico or Costa Rica to enter the World Cup. 

And if the Panamanian team does not win in their next matches, they would be left without the right to re-qualify, which would make it impossible for them to go to Qatar 2022.
