Chivas conceded 17 goals in the tournament Guard1anes in which they ended seventh after earning 26 points on 17 matches played. Raúl Gudiño was the one in charge to defend the Rebaño Sagrado goal but head coach Víctor Vucetich has been thinking that for the next season it will be better to change him.

Gudiño is just 24 years old but has a huge experience made at Chivas. He was formed at the club and went on loan to FC Porto, Uniao Madeira and APOEL FC. He came back on July 2018 and since then he started being the keeper. After 46 matches played, he received 61 goals and had 11 clean sheets.

For the next season, Vucetich is thinking on a goalkeeper who he likes more and already knows. He is Rodolfo Cota, who is currently playing at León but should go back to CF Pachuca on June 2022 when the loan ends. He was formed in Pachuca but played for other Liga MX sides, including Chivas and Club Puebla.

When playing at the Rebaño Sagrado with Matías Almeyda as a coach, Cota performed very good and the club gained many titles. His comeback could then mean a lot for the fans. Gil Alcalá (Querétaro) and Jonathan Orozco (Tijuana) appear as other two options that Vucetich is thinking on is Cota doesn’t want to move.
