Radamel Falcao was one of Europe's hottest strikers during his days for FC Porto and Atletico Madrid but his time at Chelsea and Manchester United were ones to forget as he totally lost his and one of Europe's best strikers became a shadow of himself.
He also had spells with Monaco and Galatasaray but the 35 year old was not done yet after leaving Galatasaray at the end of last season. He signed for Spanish club Rayo Vallecano as a free agent and has helped the club up to fifth on the La Liga table.
Falcao has scored four goals in six games so far, all of which were key strikes that helped the club get results. He scored the lone goal that defeated Spanish giants Barcelona on Monday which further sank Barcelona and put more pressure on head coach Ronald Koeman.
He earns a modest wage of about €1.2m at Rayo Vallecano which is about €23,000 per week. Not a big enough contract for one of Europe's best strikers in his prime but good enough for a 35year old player looking to have an extended time in his career.
