Alarm bells are ringing at Stamford Bridge because it is already known who are the players who could leave Chelsea after Abramovich's sanction.
Tomas Tuchel does not want Andreas Christensen's pass to FC Barcelona, but he would leave Chelsea
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, several world bodies initiated a series of sanctions against the country ruled by Vladimir Putin.
Among these sanctions, the government of Great Britain had decided to freeze the accounts of the Russian millionaire but informed that this operation would not affect Chelsea's operations, in terms of paying salaries, taxes, and more expenses.
However, the sanction severely affected the Blues' ability to sign new players or renew contracts, with the result that it has been confirmed that 5 Chelsea players could leave the club because of the sanctions against the Russian billionaire.
The 5 who could leave the club as free agents are Antonio Rüdiger, Andreas Christensen, César Azpilicueta, and Charly Musonda, in addition to not being able to sign Saúl Ñíguez.
And is that the Spanish player is in the team as a loan and the club would have every right to buy him, but the sanction on Abramovich would prevent this operation.
Although the Russian has already announced the sale of the club, as this has not materialized and the team still belongs to the millionaire, the sanctions will continue to weigh on the Blues until Abramovich is removed from the team.
Even though Chelsea is already for sale, this operation has not yet been finalized although at least 2 possible buyers have already been announced.
The first of them and the best known is the Turkish billionaire Mhusim Bayrack, who said that he has already made an offer to the club and that his more than 9.5 billion euros would have no problem in acquiring the club.
Behind him, the closest competitor, or rather competitors are a couple of billionaires who partnered for the purchase of the club.
These partners are Hansjörg Wyss and Todd Boehly; the former is a billionaire who has dedicated himself to the health industry and although he has no experience in sports, Boehly does.
The latter is none other than the co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and minority partner of the Los Angeles Lakers, so his experience in the sports world could be of great help to the team, which is now facing an unprecedented crisis.
