Manchester United’s new minority stakeholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe finally completed his arrival to the club in the last few hours according to the British media, and his impressive wealth has been revealed as a proof of the great financial power he has to redirect the difficult situation faced by the Red Devils in the last few months.

In this sense, according to the English journal Daily Mail, the British billionaire would have been labeled as the Britain’s richest man, with a wealth out of any doubt among the media and the fans, who have already started wondering whether he would be able to improve the sporting development and the finances of the Mancunian institution in the next few years.

In this respect, it would be worth mentioning that despite Sir Jim Ratcliffe made an offer for Chelsea after speaking with former Blues chairman Bruce Buck, when sanctions placed on Roman Abramovich triggered a fire sale some months ago, he is a Manchester United huge fan, whose petrochemicals tycoon at his peak are worth around £21 billion.

He runs different multi-billion businesses

In addition, he runs multi-billion-pound chemicals giant Ineos, valued at £35bn;  which owns French club Nice, Swiss side Lausanne, plus a third of Formula One team Mercedes, which could also be involved with Manchester United in any way in the future in case the British billionaire decides to add some partners to the club in the next few years.
