As reported by the Italian newspaper Mirror, Liverpool is interested in acquiring the services of Nicolo Barella in this summer transfer market with the aim of reinforcing rotation in the midfielder area and following Jürgen Klopp's squad renewal plan.
Darwin Nuñez is not enough, Liverpool is looking for another striker
The red team has been closely following the Italian midfielder for a couple of seasons. Inter Milan would let him out for 85 million euros, but Liverpool would be willing to offer Naby Keita in the operation to try to lower the price of the transfer and be able to close the transfer in this summer transfer market.
Nicolo Barella is considered one of the best midfielders in Serie A and it is a profile that could fit perfectly with names like Thiago Alcántara and Fabinho, considering that Jordan Henderson and James Milner are in the last stages of their career in the first European level. The Italian scored 4 goals and provided 13 assists in 48 games played in all competitions this campaign.
Liverpool has been arming the network of the future since last season with the signing of young talents: Ibrahima Konaté, Luis Díaz, Darwin Núñez, Calvin Ramsay, Fabio Carvalho. Klopp is looking to make a great team for the next 10 years and wants to dominate European football.
