Dembélé finishes his contract with Barcelona and will be a player in demand during the summer, his name has been linked to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool would also be interested, as they are looking for a replacement since Mané would leave Anfield after six seasons.
The Catalan newspaper Sport reports that Liverpool contacted Dembélé who has not finished renewing his contract with Barcelona, the French winger will choose his next destination in the coming months and values each of the offers that have reached his agent, the last one would be from the 'Reds' who want to stay in the top of the Premier and Champions League.
The reports point to an initial contact with the player and that in the coming days there will be "a final negotiation", Liverpool's proposal has to satisfy Ousmane who is looking for the best sporting project for his career and a good salary.
According to the report from Sport, Dembele would also be viewed as a possible replacement for Mo Salah. Liverpool are said to be considering selling Salah with the Egyptian refusing to drop his hefty wage demands of £400,000 a week. However, there will be some concerns surrounding Dembele's fitness record for Liverpool.
