Matthijs De Ligt completed his third season at Juventus with slightly better numbers after his early seasons had been filled with criticism for his performance and the one he put in at Ajax.
The player said he is "in ongoing talks" with Juventus to extend a contract that, as of today, does not expire until June 30, 204.
"I am focused on how I perform on the pitch. When the right time comes, I will decide whether to renew or look further," he said on 'NOS'.
Well, the journalist Nicolò Schira reported that Manchester United is interested in knowing what would be their options, if any, to sign the Dutch center-back.
Coach Erik ten Hag is keen to reunite with a player who already shone with him at Ajax and of whom he thinks he could be very important in the 'red devils'.
However, his price is quite high, since the termination clause amounts to 120 million euros.
