The fight for FC Barcelona's French striker is hours away from ending but who will win, the Premier League or Ligue 1?

The fight for FC Barcelona's French striker is hours away from being over as the winter transfer window is about to close but will Ousmane Dembélé go to Manchester United? PSG say no and could keep him.

Who is Moussa Sissoko, Ousmane Dembélé's agent?

The bidding that is currently held by two teams, one from the Premier League and the other from Ligue 1 is going to have a photo finish but if it is confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain has the upper hand, the Red Devils' heart will be broken.

Ousmane Dembélé to Manchester United... it's news of the past because PSG already has him in the bag

Until yesterday Manchester United was the team with the clearest lead in the bidding for the French player, and even Red Devils fans and Ralf Rangnick were already thinking about him.

Or so it was said in the main world sports newspapers until journalist Fabrizio Romano, true to his habit, put an end to the speculation about this information

It turns out that so far, according to the journalist, there is no formal offer for the striker from Manchester United.

And unless Cristiano Ronaldo's team comes up with an offer today, it is practically impossible for the Frenchman to return to Old Trafford. And everything points to the fact that PSG already has something concrete with the player and his agent.

Paris Saint-Germain already has Ousmane Dembélé in the bag

And this was known just a few hours ago when the Sport media gave the news through the reporter Albert Masnou, who claims that the player's manager, Moussa Sissoko gave the green light to Mateu Alemany, director of soccer at FC Barcelona to contact the sporting director of PSG to start negotiations for Dembélé.

But if this information makes the transfer of the player red hot, what follows will add fuel to the fire because according to the media quoted above, the press in France claims that Dembélé already has a verbal agreement with the French club

This information does not sound so far-fetched since it would be very comfortable for the striker to return to play in his country, taking into account the team he would be playing for.

More news about Paris Saint-Germain:

Why would PSG be the best option for Ousmane Dembélé?

The answer is simple, but the fact is that the player would be playing for one of the most dominant teams in Ligue 1. It should be remembered that the striker has played in this competition, but not with PSG.

Dembélé is a youth player of Stade Rennais FC, popularly known as Rennes, a team with which he played 29 games in which he scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists, numbers that quickly put him on the radar of several renowned European teams.

Dembélé only played in the top circuit of his country in the 2015-2016 season, as Borussia Dortmund would set their eyes on him to take him in 2016.

From then on, the striker would not play in France again, since, after Dortmund, the player has spent 5 seasons at Barcelona, a team that has not been able to emulate its former successes, so Dembélé knows that the best thing for his future is to leave.

And if he joins PSG, the player would be with Lionel Messi, in a team in constant growth, so it would be his best option at present.
