The Blues once again overwhelmed Spurs in the Premier League 2022 Chelsea vs Tottenham match, confirming the superiority of Tuchel's men over Conte's side.

The goals of the match were scored by Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva, in a duel that makes you believe in the curse of the ex that Antonio Conte has suffered the last few times he faced Chelsea.

This is because Conte was Chelsea's manager from 2016 to 2017, a season in which he made the club champions.

But the terrible thing is that the same coach has lost against the blues 3 times in a row in the last 18 days.

That is to say, the defeat Tottenham suffered today at the hands of Chelsea is added to the two they also suffered in the Carabao Cup in which the Stamford Bridge club is a finalist, and now the London derby in the Premier League.

Conte has therefore lived a real nightmare in the last few occasions that his Spurs have had to face the Blues.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Premier League 2022: Goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva confirmed Chelsea's dominance over Tottenham

The duel was full of back and forth in which both clubs tried to find gaps in the defenses to score.

The attacks started from the first minute of the match when Lukaku shot at goal, but the ball went wide. But Chelsea would try again in the 3rd minute when there was a cross from the right and Hudson Odoi failed to connect with a header.

Chelsea's attacks came from the flanks, but in the 39th minute, Tottenham's first big attack was seen: Harry Kane scored a goal, but it was disallowed for a foul against Thiago Silva.

However, the situation would change in the 47th minute of the second half, when Ziyech scored a left-footed goal that went into the corner of the goal, leaving Loris Karius with no chance to react.

From then on, Chelsea's attacks increased in intensity, which paid off in the 54th minute, when Thiago Silva beat the Tottenham defenders in the air, scoring the 2-1 that sealed the match.

Premier League break will provide a good rest for both teams

The match that both teams played today will be the last one of Premier League before the break for the World Cup Qualifiers, as they will not be back in action until February.

Tottenham, for example, will be back in the Premier League until February 9 when they host Southampton at home

Chelsea will be back in action in the English top-flight until February 19 when they visit Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park Stadium.

With this break, both teams will be able to evaluate their respective performances in the Premier League, as after today's match Chelsea remains in third place in the competition with 47 points

Meanwhile, Tottenham remains in the seventh position with 36 points, just 11 points behind Chelsea, who have beaten them on the field for the third time.

Can Conte overcome Chelsea in their next game? If not it will only confirm Thomas Tuchel's dominance over Spurs.
