Manchester United has spent most of the summer trying to sign the center forward Ten Hag wanted so much. Among the profiles, Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and other profiles were the most liked. However, now the club finally has the striker who will lead the club for the following seasons.

According to The Athletic, Manchester United would have more than well underway the renewal of Marcus Rashford, who would sign a new five-season contract until June 2028, instead of continuing with the current one, which expires in June 2024. This would put a definitive end to the possibility of Rashford signing for Paris Saint-Germain and Victor Osimhen's arrival at the club would no longer be a tran priority.

The reality is that the signing of a striker for Manchester United at the moment is complex and the profile that would end up arriving is the Dane Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta, however, both clubs are negotiating the right price to make possible the arrival of that element for next season.

When will Hojlund's arrival be announced?

Hojlund scored 16 goals in all competitions last season and would be a solid long-term investment for the Red Devils. Manchester United need to bring in a quality long-term partner for Marcus Rushford and the Atalanta striker certainly fits the bill. A deal is expected in the coming days.
