Bad news for Arsenal doesn’t stop. This time, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will have to leave Africa Cup of Nations and return to his club. The heart lesions he presented with Gabon National Team last week have forced him to leave Gabonese camp prior the third game of the group stage.

The Gabonese striker returned to England to get treatment for his heart condition with Arsenal’s medical staff, after he was diagnosed with heart lesions that prevented him from playing with Gabon National Team last Friday on their game against Ghana.
Aubameyang wasn’t the only player that left Gabonese camp, as Mario Lemina presented the same symptoms and was sent back to his team, French side OGC Nice, to receive treatment as well. The players presented heart lesions after having covid.
