Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is set to miss the club's next two Premier league matches with injury.

Mason Mount, Manchester United midfielder, will be absent from the Red Devils and will not be ready after the national team break and will not be playing the next two Premier League games either. The english midfielder started the first two games this season, where he suffered a minor injury and will be missing the games against Nottingham Forest this weekend and the game against Arsenal next week.

Mount was injured in the match against Tottenham last date where he had to leave in the last minutes of the match. Due to his injury his presence in the England squad for the matches against Ukraine on Saturday 9 of September and against Scotland the following Tuesday is also in doubt.

Before starting this season, Manchester United confirmed the signing of the english midfielder for 55 million pounds plus 5 million more on variables; The 24 year old player,  joined the Red Devils last July after not agreeing in the renewal agreement with Chelsea

What are the options in the midfield for Manchester United?

Certainly, Mason Mount being injured for the next 2 matches is an issue but they doesn't lack of substitute players that can easily fit in the middle of the field; Such as de Danish player Christian Eriksen which is the most likely to start against Nottingham Forest. The second option could be Bruno Fernandes which he has manage to play in that position many times in the past, and the last option could be the Scottish player Scott McTominay which has more defensive skills in the midfield.
