A move for Marco Asensio may be in the cards for Liverpool, as the club is looking to replace Sadio Mané after his move to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Real Madrid could be open to selling the player for a reported fee of approximately 40 million euros, however reports suggest that the Spanish forward is not keen on a move to England.

Asensio has one year left in his contract with Real Madrid, and the club would like to sell him rather than see him go for free at the end of next season. Nonetheless the attacker is concerned over how much playing time he would get at Liverpool. After the Premier League outfit is set to sign several players, including forward Darwin Nuñez.

Still, the Spaniard is reviewing his options for the upcoming season after struggling to find playing time with Real Madrid. Some reports claim that Asensio would prefer a move to Italy, with AC Milan being his preferred destination.

The 26 year-old is still on great shape to revamp his career and a transfer to another club seems like the right move for him.

Liverpool’s busy transfer market

The English club have been quite busy this summer bringing in several new faces, some think that the Reds have already acquired the players they hoped to sign this window. Even so, a move for Asensio is not out of the cards yet, so we will have to sit and wait for his decision and the impact it will have on his young career.
