Another concern Zidane would’ve had is players this summer participating in the EUROS, the Copa America, or even the Summer Olympics. One of the big names on the Manchester United team who was close to playing in the Copa America and in the Summer Olympics is Alejandro Garnacho. Manchester United fans were concerned about the young winger potentially playing both tournaments because of a potential injury or fatigue heading into next season.

Those concerns are over, as Gaston Edul reported that Manchester United will not let Garnacho play in the Summer Olympics in Paris. Garnacho will likely be playing the Copa America this month with the senior Argentina national team in the United States.

The Argentina national team are ready for Copa America

TYC Sports captured the moment the Argentina National Team arrived in Miami to prepare for the Copa America. Some other players will arrive tomorrow, and the first training will be today with half of the squad. Lionel Messi will also be joining the squad soon after he played his last game with Inter Miami before the Copa America last night at the Chase Stadium, where he scored a goal in the 3-3 draw between Inter Miami and St. Louis City. The first full team training will be tomorrow, and they will be playing two friendly matches.

Argentina will play against Ecuador on June 9th at Soldier Field as their first friendly match heading towards Copa America. Their last friendly will be against Guatemala on June 14th at FedEx Field. Argentina is in Group A, which will face Canada, Chile, and Peru. Canada will be Argentina’s first opponent of the Copa America on June 20th at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Argentina will then play Chile at the MetLife Stadium on June 25th. The last group stage match will be against Peru at the Hard Rock Stadium on June 29th.
