While Cristiano Ronaldo has his own water brand to keep people hydrated, Lionel Messi is set to have his own hydration drink, which will be launched or announced on June 14th, 2024. Messi posted a short video of him and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, in working outfits inside a facility with other people discussing a plan. Messi seems to be observing how the new hydration drink is being made, and the Argentine and the rest of the team are discussing the marketing and labels for the new drink in a meeting. There is yet to be an official name for the new hydration drink but a logo of it seems to be hinted at the end of the video before the date given.

Messi posted the video on Instagram with a caption that describes what he has planned for the future with this brand-new hydration drink. Messi's caption read, "We've been hard at work preparing for the launch of our new hydration drink because hydration is so important for everyone, and we want to make sure we get it right. We've just returned from the facility where we checked in on our progress, and learned exactly how my next-generation hydration drink is being made."

With Messi's fanbase around the world and the new popularity he has built in the United States, the Argentine may reach some high numbers with this drink when it is released this summer. Cristiano Ronaldo has a huge fanbase as well, and his drink Ursu 9 also helps people keep hydrated, but it is a natural mineral water. According to El Financiero MX, 50 million units of the water Ronaldo has is expected to be sold by this summer, which could make the Portuguese star more than $40 million. The prices for the water vary since there are different types of bottles, like a liter and a half or 500 ml, that are sold for less than $1 each.
