Kylian Mbappé will leave PSG at the end of this season after he posted a farewell video last Friday. Mbappé played his last home game for the club this past weekend at the Parc des Princes, and the team lifted the league trophy in front of his fans. Since his announcement, there seems to be tension at the club, according to reports in France, and now Mbappé was not seen in the latest PSG training session. Some believed that this was a punishment for announcing his departure, but it appeared to be a slight injury. Mbappé reportedly has pain in his left leg, which caused him to not train with the team.

Mbappé played the entire game in the PSG vs. Toulouse match over the weekend, where the away side won 3-1. The French star scored the opener of the game in the 8th minute. Arnau Tenas, the PSG keeper for the game, gave a perfect pass to Mbappé, who faked a shot at the keeper and went around him to slot the ball into the empty net. Toulouse came back and slightly ruined the PSG party as the loss didn't mean much because the team were already crowned league champions.

Mbappé has played a total of 29 matches in Ligue 1 this season with PSG. The striker has scored 27 goals and has provided 27 assists. This led him to win his fifth consecutive Ligue 1 Player of the Year award last night. Mbappé spoke after receiving the award and thanked PSG for the last seven years he has spent time there. Mbappé said, "I thank all the people of the club and the president. I will miss it. I’m leaving with my head held high."
