Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi may no longer be playing in Europe, but their teams have become an attractive place for many players who are looking to explore a new environment outside of Europe. Messi has familiar faces at Inter Miami, like Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets. Ronaldo has some impressive teammates at Al Nassr, such as Sadio Mane, Otavio, and Aymeric Laporte. The next European star that could make a move away from Europe is Raphael Varane. The French defender confirmed a month ago that he will not stay at Manchester United next season, and he will become a free agent on July 1st, which is on Monday. Varane is linked to a move to either Al Nassr with Cristiano Ronaldo or Inter Miami with Lionel Messi. David Beckham may have the edge on signing him since they will offer Varane a salary that could make him one of the best-paid players in the MLS.

Fabrizio Romano also reported that Inter Miami has just made an approach to ask about Varane's potential free agent deal conditions, but nothing else at the moment. The French star is looking at his options as he also has other options besides the MLS club and Al Nassr. Al Nassr is interested in signing the defender since he has experience playing with Ronaldo since the two played together at Real Madrid.

Varane played a total of 32 matches with Manchester United across all competitions. He scored one goal throughout the whole season, and the defender scored on the first matchday of the Premier League. Varane scored the winning goal in the 1-0 win against Wolves at Old Trafford.

The Italian club that wants to compete with Inter Miami and Al Nassr to sign Varane

An Italian club has become another option for Varane next season as they want to sign the French defender this summer. Fabrizio Romano reports that the newly promoted club, Como's dream target for the center-back position, is Raphael Varane as a free agent. Cesc Fabregas wants Varane, and they will try to make it happen, but there are several clubs interested in Europe and abroad, which is not an easy one.
