Cristiano Ronaldo is currently playing with the Portuguese national team in the EUROS in Germany and as he prepares for the knockout stages, he receives bad news from his camp in Saudi Arabia. After the EUROS with Portugal is over, Ronaldo will likely take another break and then fully report back to his club in Saudi Arabia, Al Nassr. Reports in Saudi Arabia suggest that the AFC, the Asian Football Confederation, fined Cristiano Ronaldo $15k. This is because he violated the private label regulation during the press conference before the Al Ain match. It has to do with Ronaldo placing a water bottle of his water brand, Ursu 9, on the table and promoting it. Ronaldo released this new water brand last year and has become successful in Europe since then, with many of his fans purchasing it to keep hydrated. This may annoy Ronaldo when he comes back, especially if Portugal gets eliminated from the EUROS in the knockout stages.
Ronaldo is very proud of his water brand and promotes it on his social media pages and plans to make it available for fans in as many countries as possible. Ronaldo's water brand described water as very healthy for people since it will keep them hydrated due to the elements it contains in the water. The brand states that, "URSU is a natural mineral water with a high alkaline content - ph 9 - which compensates for the acidification of the body, recovering the vitality of the organs and the feeling of well-being."
The water brand recently reached the UK as it was only available in Spain and in Portugal. Ronaldo plans to expand the drink to more areas of the world so fans worldwide can try the water and keep healthy. Ronaldo wrote, "It's with great pleasure that I announce my URSU9 Water is now available in the UK! The United Kingdom has a special place in my heart, and I'm incredibly happy to share this moment with all of you. URSU9 is a natural alkaline mineral water, offering the purest taste straight from the source. Don't forget the importance of hydration for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Enjoy URSU9 and feel the benefits of quality hydration!"
Ronaldo has played in all three of Portugal's matches on the group stage, but he has yet to score. Pepe was asked about his form, and he defended his teammate. Pepe said, "Cristiano lives for goals, that's a fact. But have you seen how available he is on the pitch to help the national team? It's unbelievable. He is the player who played the most minutes in our national team, and he is 39 years old. He's doing very well, he's a great player. We will perform very well in this final stage of the Euro Championship and I am sure that will give us a lot of happiness."
