Real Madrid has many star players like Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and more in the squad. The club and the team have always been an attractive place to play for the best players in the world, like Kylian Mbappé. The club has shown lots of support for their players when they receive criticism, but one of the star players for Real Madrid is currently annoyed and unhappy with the situation he is through in the league. The star player who is annoyed with the Spanish giants with how the situation is dealt with is Vinicius Jr.

According to the Athletic, Vinicius Jr has long felt unhappy with Real Madrid’s handling of the racist abuse he has suffered on so many occasions in Spain. The player believes the club should be doing more to support him. After last year’s incidents at the Mestalla, this feeling even led him to consider leaving the club briefly.

As recently as this week, the player thought Real Madrid should have been quicker in making a public response when footage emerged appearing to show Atléti fans singing abusive chants about him outside the Metropolitano before their match with Inter Milan in the Champions League. There were abusive chants by Barcelona fans towards Vinicius as well this past week, but Real Madrid has published a statement about the situation.

Real Madrid's statement about abuse towards Vinicius Jr

Real Madrid has released a statement in regard to the abuse chants against Vinicus Jr. Real Madrid's statement reads, "Real Madrid C. F. has filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office against the crimes of hatred and discrimination, for the racist and hateful insults directed against our player Vinicius Junior in the vicinity of the Olympic Stadium of Montjuic and the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid before the Barcelona-Naples and Atlético de Madrid-Inter Milan, of the Champions League."

"Real Madrid asks the Prosecutor's Office to request the security forces for the existing recordings in both locations in order to identify the perpetrators of such racist and hateful insults.

Real Madrid condemns these violent attacks of racism, discrimination, and hatred that have been taking place, unfortunately repeatedly, against our player Vinicius Junior."
