Lionel Messi's new entertainment platform will be called 525 Rosario, which is the name of the Argentine player's hometown and house. The platform's main objective is to transmit sports content, as well as cinema and television. It will be responsible for the production of various products, including the biographies of players worldwide.

Messi partnered with the production company Smuggler Entertainment that has been operating in the market for years: “The company will embody the attributes of innovation and teamwork linked to the soccer player, while highlighting diverse perspectives for both the Latin and Hispanic community, as well as for its global audience in general,” the company's official account published on its social networks.

Lionel Messi, in addition to being a brilliant footballer and for many the best in history, today dedicates himself largely to his companies. The career of a footballer is short and if they do not invest well for their future they may have serious falls. Betting on the entertainment industry is a success for Messi because this is one of the businesses that has grown the most in recent years.

Messi has been investing his money in different companies for some time, and has generated really strong profits in recent years: "According to the latest registered accounts, his parent company, Limecu España 2010, made a profit of 7.72 million euros in 2022 (21% more than the previous year) and a turnover of 73 million euros, more than 13 million than the previous year", published el País of Spain.

Lionel Messi earns more with brands than with his salary

It is no secret that Messi earns much more from those than from his own salary at Inter Miami. According to information from ABC, Lionel Messi earns an average of $50 million annually from sponsorships alone. On the other hand, Messi has a base salary of $12 million dollars at Inter Miami, however, he has a clause in his objective award contract called "guaranteed compensation" which means his contract exceeds $20 million dollars per year. Despite this, it is not even half of what he earns in sponsorships.
