Real Madrid expects a lot from Kylian Mbappé as the French star is one of the best players in the world. Mbappé became the top goalscorer of PSG this past season, and now he aims to become the top goalscorer of Real Madrid, which is a great challenge for him because the top goalscorer of the club is his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese legend scored a total of 451 goals in 438 matches for Real Madrid. The record is impressive since he played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018. He was there for nine years, and Mbappé will need to stay there for a long time to get close to that record.

Mbappé will need to score at least 50 goals per season in the next nine years to equal the record. Mbappé would be 34 years old in nine years, and the French star could look forward to scoring lots of goals as he will have players like Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo alongside him. Nine years from now is 2033.

In his last season with Paris Saint Germain, Mbappé scored 44 goals and provided ten assists in 48 matches played across all competitions. It was the best individual record he has had in his career so far. Mbappé is 25 years old and is set to get closer to his prime, which could lead to the French player improving even more. With better players alongside him, it wouldn't come as a shock if he reaches near the 50-goal mark next season.

Mbappé spoke about Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham during a press conference and showcased his excitement about being with them on the pitch. He said, "I can’t wait to play with him, Bellingham, and all the other top players at the club." Mbappé will most likely play as the team striker this upcoming season.
