There is no doubt that going to see teams in Europe can be very expensive, especially for visitors. Spain is where it is most difficult to go see a team, according to studies carried out by FASFE, on average attending a LaLiga match, La Copa del Rey or the second division, costs 33 euros and 68 cents, thus becoming the most expensive country to watch a team.

FASFE (Federation of Shareholders and Partners of Spanish Football) carried out a study regarding visitor tickets. "Specifically, it has monitored the prices of the two categories of professional football and the Copa del Rey, to compare them with competitions abroad, materialized in the Visitor Price Report 23-24"

The result left as a balance, that adding the competitions in Spain is where you pay the most per entry. For example, the average ticket price in the first division is 35 euros, taking into account that the matches with the highest cost for obvious reasons are Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid. Smaller teams charge lower ticket prices.

Prices in Spain are more expensive despite the implementation of the "Visitor Stand" strategy, which involved regularizing excessive ticket prices for visiting fans. Even as reported by Europa Press, there were tickets that were worth 179 euros, something absurd considering that they are league or second division matches.

How much does it cost for a visitor to go see Real Madrid?

It all depends on the rival, however, in the recent match against Espanyol a total ticket cost 55 euros for a visiting fan, but they were sold for up to 95 euros, that is, 40 euros more expensive. On the other hand, in a match against Valladolid, for example, the cheapest ticket starts at 20 euros, that is, a little more accessible.
