After many goal attempts, Man City grabbed an equalizer late in the game courtesy of their star player, Kevin De Bruyne. In the 76th minute, Doku dribbles on the left into the box. He puts a low cross in the box, and Rudiger makes a block, but the rebound falls to De Bruyne in the box. The Belgian midfielder shoots it over Lunin and into the roof of the net to make it 1-1 and send the game to extra-time. The game went to penalties, and Antonio Rudiger scored the winning goal, and Madrid won 4-3 in the shootout.
