Chelsea won 2-1 against Newcastle United in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is 11th in the Premier League table with 39 points, while Newcastle United are 10th with 40 points. This win helps Chelsea get closer to potential European spots for next season.

Chelsea started the game off in the right path as they scored in the opener in the first 10 minutes. In the 6th minute, Cole Palmer tries a shot on target, but as it goes wide, Nicolas Jackson flicks the ball into the bottom corner to score for Chelsea. Jackson gave Chelsea the lead.

Late in the first half, Chelsea loses the ball in their half. Bruno Guimaraes won the ball and played a great ball to Alexander Isak on the left. Isak shoots the ball into the bottom right corner and equalizes for Newcastle United. Chelsea thought they took the lead again before halftime as Jackson put the ball in the net, but he was offside.

In the second half, Chelsea would take the lead again as Cole Palmer scores from a drilled left-footed shot that goes into the bottom right corner. Palmer's striker came out of nowhere and caught the Newcastle United keeper sleeping. Chelsea looked to take advantage of their chances compared to Newcastle, and they would go on to score again.

Mudryk scores for Chelsea and secures the three points for the Blues

In the 76th minute, Chelsea goes on a quick counter. Mudryk gets the ball on the edge of the box and nutmegs Schar. He goes around Dubravka and puts the ball in the net to score Chelsea's third goal. It was 3-1 for Chelsea, but Newcastle scored again. In the 90th minute, Jacob Murphy scores a great goal, and his strike goes past Petrovic at the near post. It wasn't enough to avoid defeat as Chelsea kept their lead and won 3-2.
