The odds are not as high as they would be a couple of years ago, but the belief is still that Ronaldo showcased that he was close to scoring for Portugal.

Portugal's 2-1 win put them second in Group F of EURO 2024, as they have three points with a plus-one goal difference. Turkey is first in the group after their 3-1 win against Georgia, which puts them on three points with a plus-two goal difference. Things were not looking good for Portugal as the first half was 0-0 despite the Portuguese side having many chances on goal.

Portugal got the equalizer in the 69th minute as a cross in the box led to Robin Hranac's own goal. In the 92nd minute, a cross in the box by Pedro Neto led to Conceicao to push the ball into the net and past the keeper.
