Real Madrid players are very successful at the club level since Los Blancos have won the most Champions Leagues out of any European club and have won the most La Liga titles. All the players in the squad will try to implement that winning mentality with their national teams, but some are unlucky in achieving it. While many players have struggled to find success at club and international levels, a certain number of players have done that success in the past. Carvajal, Joselu and Nacho just joined a short list of players who won the Champions League and the Euros the same year.

Many Brazilian players have won the Champions League and have won the Copa America throughout their career. Rivaldo won the Copa America in 1999 for Brazil and then won the Champions League with AC Milan in 2003. Ronaldinho won Copa America with Brazil in 1999 as well but won the Champions League in 2006 with FC Barcelona. Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo already have won two Champions League trophies with the club, but this summer, they were not able to win the Copa America with Brazil after being eliminated by Uruguay on penalties in the quarterfinals.

Cafu won two Copa America trophies with Brazil in 1997 and in 1999 and won the Champions League trophy with AC Milan in 2007. Dani Alves won the Copa America with Brazil in 2007 and won the Champions league three times with FC Barcelona in 2009, 2011, and 2015. Julio Cesar and Maicon won the Copa America with Brazil and the Champions League with Inter Milan. Cesar won the Copa America with Brazil in 2004 and the UCL with Inter in 2010. Maicon won the Copa America with Brazil in 2004 and in 2007.

Two Uruguayan players were able to win the Champions League and the Copa America. Martin Caceres won the Copa America in 2011 and won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2009. Luis Suarez won the Copa America in 2011 as well and won the Champions League with FC Barcelona in 2015.

No Real Madrid players in the Copa America final

There are no Real Madrid players in the Copa America final, and the closest player to get there was Federico Valverde with Uruguay. They were eliminated by Colombia in the semifinals. Dani Carvajal and Jude Bellingham were notable players in the EUROS final.
