Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is growing impatient as his potential move to FC Barcelona hangs in the balance. The English international, who has fallen out of favor with manager Erik ten Hag, has made it clear that he wants to leave Old Trafford and has been heavily linked with a move to the Catalan giants.

Rashford has been one of the most sought-after players in the January transfer window. With his future at Manchester United uncertain, the 27-year-old has been attracting interest from several top European clubs. While AC Milan was initially seen as a potential destination, the signing of Kyle Walker has closed the door on a move to San Siro. Borussia Dortmund, who successfully signed Jadon Sancho from Manchester United a few years ago, have also been mentioned as a possible suitor.

However, it is FC Barcelona that remains Rashford's preferred destination. The Spanish giants are in the market for a forward and have identified the Englishman as a key target. Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is a big admirer of Rashford's talent and believes he could be a valuable addition to his squad.

But there are obstacles to overcome. Barcelona's financial situation is precarious, and the club may struggle to meet Manchester United's valuation of the player. Additionally, Barcelona would need to offload some players to free up space on their wage bill.

According to reports from Spain, Rashford is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress in negotiations. The English forward is eager to secure a move away from Manchester United and is keen to join a club where he can play regular first-team football.

Rashford's agent has been in talks with Barcelona officials in recent weeks, but the two clubs have yet to reach an agreement. The Spanish club is hoping to negotiate a loan deal with an option to buy, but Manchester United are demanding a permanent transfer.

The clock is ticking for both clubs to reach a deal. The January transfer window closes at the end of the month, and both Barcelona and Manchester United will need to act quickly if they want to finalize a deal for Rashford.

If a move to Barcelona falls through, Rashford could be forced to stay at Manchester United for the remainder of the season. However, it is clear that the English forward is desperate for a new challenge and is willing to force through a move if necessary.
