Liverpool is easily one of the best teams in the world, and most of that is thanks to their world-class players. Football fans have respected players like Alisson, Virgil Van Dijk, and Mohamed Salah as one of the best players in the world, and Van Dijk was the closest to winning a Ballon d'Or award. In 2019, Van Dijk finished as the runner-up to the award as Lionel Messi won it playing for FC Barcelona, and Cristiano Ronaldo finished third while playing for Juventus. Sadio Mane finished 4th that year in the ranking, while Mohamed Salah finished 5th. Although there are players considered great in the current squad, one Liverpool loanee expresses his desire to reach that level, which surprises Liverpool fans.
