Al Nassr could soon be building an incredible team for Cristiano Ronaldo next season to compete with Al Hilal and for the AFC Champions League. Al Nassr, along with the Saudi Pro League, are willing to spend millions to bring more star players from the biggest European leagues. The newest player linked to Al Nassr is Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United. The Daily Mirror reports that Cristiano Ronaldo wants Bruno Fernandes to join him at Al Nassr this summer. Fernandes is the number one target for the Saudi Arabian club, who are willing to pay whatever it takes to sign the Portuguese midfielder.

Fernandes' contract with Manchester United expires in the summer of 2026, and despite being the most crucial player in their squad, a huge bid from Al Nassr could be tempting for the Manchester club, who plans to rebuild the squad this summer. Ronaldo's team is also linked with other players in Europe, like Paulo Dybala, Casemiro, and Raphael Varane. Although Varane is guaranteed to leave Man United and Dybala has a cheap release clause at Roma, Fernandes would be the most attractive signing to make.

Fernandes and Ronaldo played 51 matches together at Manchester United for two seasons. The pair combined for three goals together at Old Trafford during the two seasons they spent together in the Premier League with the Red Devils. They also play together at the Portugal national team, where they have played 49 matches. They have combined for a total of five goals together in the national team and will continue their partnership at the upcoming 2024 Euros tournament this summer in Germany.
